What is this topic all about? Is there really a wrong guy out there? Just because he’s not your type, doesn’t mean he’s not the type for other people!

So yeah, by that I mean "not my type".

Had a few encounters already, but I shan’t mention names.

Last night, I was rushing home to catch my Channel U’s Superstar, and it was almost 8pm. I think the travelling time seemed shorter yesterday, as normally I would reach home at 8pm (I knock off at 6.30pm, how pathetic!).

So I strolled towards my feeder bus’ waiting area, when this African American guy was heard saying "excuse me, excuse me!"

I was listening to my radio, so initially I didn’t hear him, but when I realised it, my bus had arrived, and was going off soon. Being the good Samaritan (spelling?) that I am, I stopped, and was prepared to give him directions.

"Excuse me, I’m looking for internet cafes, do you know where they have it?"

I said, "Jurong Point used to have it, but now I’m not so sure…"

He chatted me up, and said, "Hey, I’m from Peru, and I like to make friends, are you Chinese?"

No, I’m Japanese! =P "Yeah, I’m Chinese, hey sorry, I’ve gotta catch my bus!" And I turned a little towards my bus.

"Hey, wait. You’re beautiful. I like the way you speak. Can we be friends?"

"Erm, it’s okie, I am not used to giving my number out anyhow."

In the end, I wanted to just give him a bogus number and ask him to SMS me later or what, and get out of his sight (which is impossible because the bus just left, darn!).

BUT, the stupid me asked him for HIS number instead, so that I could just scot off without giving him my number!

I think you all are going to scold me for what I did. I gave him my number indirectly! Zzz.

Then I bid him farewell, determined to ignore him if he ever did call or sms. I was not even anywhere near well-dressed. I was pale and sickly-looking because of my cold. And I sounded yucky cos of my sore throat.

I think people have different perceptions of beauty! Hehehe. But I think normally people would have their guard up if they meet strangers or what. Unlike the westerners, they would even dare to hitchhike and just chat anyone up!

But of course, I’m not so dumb as to go out with that fellow, even if he’s got nothing malicious up his sleeves. No ONS whatsoever, contrary to some people’s sarcasm about me having "new suitors".

Bleah.

It just occurred to me, maybe in his country, they prefer fleshy people, with husky voice. HAHAHA! =X I think I spoke with a little slang, that’s why.

Aww. He’s just so sweet sometimes. The rest of the conversation were about his explanation. =P

I’m a devil treating people nicely, if they don’t step on my toes. =P Hehe.
