Stupid Thing of the Day!
Happy Friendship/Valentine’s Day! Today’s a rather unlucky day for me. I was fashionably late, and my boss had to look for me just a few minutes before I arrived in the office.
And the cute/stupid thing is, I scalded myself with hot water from the water dispenser. Why? Because I used mineral water bottle to refill water, and the bottle’s mouth was too small to fit the 2 nozzles (hot & cold).
Not wanting to drink too cold water, I fit the bottle’s mouth under the cold water nozzle (note that the hot water nozzle is outside of the bottle).
Then I conveniently press the cold water button, followed by the left some minutes later, forgetting that I’m not using my normal bottle (with a big mouth). It’s not exactly a scald, but I uttered, "Oh shit, oh shit" when the hot water got to my hand.
The bespectacled guy behind me looked at me sympathetically, but I just smiled back.
Gee, time to get a tumbler! =P
