Serendipity

While Chinese New Year is a good time to gamble, Mid-Autumn Festival is a good time to play with fire. -.-"

Met up with Jenny, YH and ZC last Friday to gather under the moonlight for some romantic get-together. The moon wasn’t as bright [as the moon in UK, according to Meifang], due to the fog. Or should I say, HAZE. It’s so hazy, it almost drove me crazy. Hey that rhymes! =P

Other countries experience fog due to coldness. Singapore experience haze due to pollution. Sigh.

Nevertheless, we manage to have some childish fun playing with sparklers and candles, with every minute spent either getting scaled by candle wax [I love wax!], screaming ‘hey your lantern’s burning!‘ or turning our attention to kids playing with fire, dangerously near us. -.-"

I remember the last time I did this, some adolescents were throw lighters into fire pits, and they really explode! But luckily they sounded scarier than they actually were.

The PSI that day, was around 150 [I think], and we were plainly adding to it by playing with the sparklers that had somehow lost their ‘crisp‘. Not to mention, sparklers also got different grades.

Basically, ours were one version, then there was the kind where the front shot vigourously when it ignited. And another was pretty loud when it first ignited.

But we had fun. =P

Then we came back to my place to play good old Monopoly. I love the game! And I had to be the banker! =( My banker not around that day, so sad… Nevertheless, I didn’t win the game, but I was the last to get out of the game. Yuhui won. That girl refused to exchange one of the title deeds with me. -.-" And I didn’t manage to buy any stretch of land with the same color! *grr*

We played till 2am the next morning, which was 7th Oct. ZC fell asleep on the sofa while YH continued to play for him…

I need motivation! Bah, I didn’t get what I want, guess I was too inexperienced. Sigh.
